Question Hella 700FF Driving Light Question

So I have a pretty basic question. I have stock aux. lights mounted on the bumper of my '04 TJ. They are the ones with a short wire with a plug for the harness at the end. The wires are a black one and a blue one. My question is if I were to purchase the Hella 700FF driving lights to replace those stock ones, could I just splice into those 2 existing wires in front of the plug and connect them that way? The stock lights are operated by the switch on the turn signal stick. The Hella's are 55W as well, so I would not think that would be an issue. Thanks for any help.

I would say yes. Kc makes replacement fogs that at 55w that are designed to replace the stock lights.
