Help w/ all this headlight conversion stuff

So I've searched and read on 3 forums now about what headlights to get and such and have changed my mind on getting e codes with ddm hid kit to now going cibies from Daniel stern, bulbs and wiring kit. My questions though are:

1. Is it going to be difficult to wire up this new harness once I get the parts from him and is there splicing of wires as I assume it's not plug and play since I have to add my own wiring.

2. I was spoiled with the bi xenon lights in my rover and these tj lights suck big time. Am I going to be happy?

My budget was $200 but looks like it might be a tad more now.

People that went with Daniel Stern's recommendations seem to be very pleased with the performance.

There is a pre-wired harness I believe... Try searching Susquehanna Motorsports for the harness or search the site. It has been mentioned many times and shouldn't be difficult to look up.

1. No splicing necessary if you use this, SMS H13 to H4 Upgrade Headlamp Harness For Jeep JK Wrangler 2007> - RallyLights.com. Although you mentioned "tj", so, I'd give them a call to see what they can offer you.

2. Lower your expectations. While the cibies have great pattern and paired with a harness with new bulbs will provide better output compared to oem lights, they are not as good as a bi-xenon setup from a land rover or a good projector setup.
