HID Bulbs in Daylighters?

Hey everyone. In July, I bought a pair of 130W KC Daylighters. They're amazing, and I love them. They're mounted on my windshield pillars, and they're the long range model. I'm just curious as to whether I can put some HID bulbs in them, and how much it would cost. If anybody has done this, please give me a little rundown of the brocess too. Thank you.

It's a miracle what google can do. Try searching hid in kc daylighters.

But here's a link to a write-up. How-to: Install HID Bulbs in KC Daylighter Lights - Second Generation Nissan Xterra Forums (2005+)

Just did this to my YJ. Simple. You can buy a H3 HID kit off ebay for what? $30? You NEED the slim ballast. The regular size WILL NOT fit.

Why?

Why do you want to cut down the effectiveness of the lights? The 130w Spot lights have a reflective range of at least a mile (you didn't say if you had the driving or spots). HID lights in a reflector not designed for them will reduce your distance and mess with the beam pattern.
