JW Speakers or Truck-Lites in low temperatures ?

Anyone got any experience with these LED headlights in somewhat low temperatures? Like 0 to -50 degrees?

Don't want to drop $500 - $700 on LED headlights if I'm better off with some HID's bulbs & ballasts. Weather here is bi-polar, it can go from:

no issues with the light itselfe but with not melting snow, since LEDs doesn't have that much heat.

Melting snow is the biggest issue. Driving through the last snow storm had to clear snow from the lights repeatedly. Otherwise love the lights.
