We'll I'm no pro but I vote for LEDs. Figure out how much u want to spend on lights an get a LED bar in that price range. Mine is simply awesome. I got this one:
Rigid Industries 91011 - Rigid Industries 10" SR-Series LED Light Bar - Quadratec

It's just a little one but it's really good. I got the white spot/flood combo. Can't go wrong for the price.

15 Hydro Blue Unlimited Sport S, 6 speed, AC, power group, 1.5 inch Teraflex front spring spacers, G2 wheel spacers, drivers seat heater, black painted hard top, and soft top.

LEDs offer insanely more output at much fewer watts of power, which equals less amperage draw.
If you stay away from Rigid, you get gobs more light output for much less money compared to a halogen light. Rigid still sells their lights priced as if they were the only company selling them, so you're going to pay a lot more, but you will have way more output.

You can get the same light output from a 3", 16watt cube as a 6", 50watt KC....at less than 1 amp draw, compared to 8 amps from the KC.
