KC Lights Wiring

So I'm in the process of installing and wiring up my new KC lights. I got everything wired up as it's supposed to be, flipped the switch, and they pop on. Flip the switch again, and they won't turn off. In fact, disconnecting all the wires going to the switch, and they still stay on. I jiggled the relay and finally got them to turn off, and now they will not light at all. Anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated!

I would guess a faulty relay. Might try replacing that and see where it gets you

It's definitely the relay, I just jiggled it and duplicated what happened last night. The relay also gets a bit warm. Doesn't this indicate a short?

Basically, I can get them to light if I move it around or leave it alone for a bit, but if I switch them off and then right back on, they won't. I checked my fuses carefully, they are intact,

I can also hear a click when I hit the switch even when they don't light, but it stops clicking after I flip it a few times.

I don't think the relay is faulty. If anyone has any other troubleshooting tips, please post them

wiggling won't fix most broken relays, sounds like loose connection or a bad switch. take out the switch and turn on the lights directly by connecting the white and green wires. This will check the switch which is what i suspect at the moment.

the next step would be to check the relay with an omh meter across 30 and the 87's then put a 9v battery across 85 and 86. In 99% of cases, if the relay clicks away when you put the 9v on it, it's okay. the omh meter is only to check the other side of the circuit.

If both of these are okay, it's a bad connection or wiring. There's no easy way to find a loose connections that change by wiggling stuff.
