Long range and a fog? One of each?

I have a pair of these that were on my TJ years ago.
Thinking about putting them on the bumper. The lenses are long range and really threw the light.
One reflector has some rust in it. I contacted Delta and they gave me the part number to order a new lens. I was kicking around the idea of one Fog and leave the other long range.
Get the wide pattern out in front below the headlights and the long range out beyond the head lights.
I just put the Blackbox Logistics on the Pillars while bright they dont have long range.

Thoughts? pros cons?
These are 8" diameter

the good will be lighting in the distance plus some okay in close lighting. The bad would be you can't use just the fog for heavy rain/snow/fog because your long range will come on with it and bounce back in your face. I think if you want to do this, a better combination would be a flood and a long range since a flood will light up a larger area than a fog, all other things being equal. the difference is a cutoff shield in the fog.
