lol, aiy, to each his own. If the quality is there, go for it. It was just my opinion on the look... not for me!
I like the halo look too, but in the style of the thinner ones like on the BMW's that are more a round bar type illuminated each end, you don't see each bulb.

I have not had time yet - I travel very frequent (sometimes I'm gone more than I am home).
I want to do a fair headlight to headlight comparison and it is tough because if the stinger on the front of the jeep cuts it out.
I am going to pull one and do a single to single comparison w Trucklite and jw speaker soon.

I have been traveling - the other issue is that I can not give a proper "inside the can" comparison because that would be unfair. As you see I have the GR full stinger with grille guard on the front which absolutely impedes part if the pattern so to show that versus a set with a clear path would be unfair.
I am going to pull one light and do more of an outdoor bench test with single lights next to each other that way all is fair and square. I believe in giving the best, most practical and impartial comparison I can.

Just got back from Vegas last night - will try to do it this week before heading to Cali for the off road expo -
Speaker is your best bet if you want these in a decent amount of time. I wouldn't expect to see these on the market until Q2.
You will just be jealous that you bought the JWS when these do release lol jk.

Glad you have a sense of humor! . So next summer for a release date?
Can you give us some specs:
Lumens dim/bright
Plug & play on TJ's and the gayK? J/K
Forum discount??

Seriously looking at JW's...give me a reason to wait! Time to put out!

Beam Pattern. While it may possibly get DOT certified, (doubt it unless each LEF has its own reflector) I still think cops would stop you all the time and ask to see a DOT stamp.

Not in Texas

But seriously. It's been too long. Starting to doubt how "awesome" these lights are...

Touch'
Unfortunately this is my busiest time of year - if you had my travel schedule you would understand I go back and forth from east coast to west coast almost weekly.
When I have two minutes to put together, unfortunately this forum isn't my priority - my kids and wife are - not to mention putting together 30 seconds of veg time for sanity.
I'd say if your a non believer that's obviously fine and I profusely apologize or any delay and inconvenience but my I have companies to run and a family to care for. These are my priorities.
Sorry again - they will come in time when I can

Nice find!

They have a whole product built around the circular LED pattern.
ns-sirius.com. The site includes a microscopic image of the hi/lo beam patterns.

Looking at the site they don't look like they will be to good. It states 1 high power led for low beam. So at best your looking at just over 1000 lumens.

So HOW do you come to your "just over 1000 lumens"? And how is that Not good? Or is this one of "those" post where there's no actual science behind what you actually said?

Because the below stats come from the JW Speaker website for their 8700 evolution headlight. And their high beams "effective lumens" are 760!
So if the above headlight is actually "just over 1000 lumens for LOW BEAMS that seems pretty damn good!

JW SPEAKER 8700 EVOLUTION SPECS:
Input Voltage: 12-24V DC
Raw Lumens: 1,350 (Both Low & High Beams)
Effective Lumens: 650 (Low Beam), 760 (High Beam)
Current Draw: 2.50 Amps @ 12V DC / 1.30 Amps @ 24V DC

An h4 bulb gives about 1000 lumens on low before optical loss. For these lights they state that there is only one high power led used for the low beam assuming they used a good led like a cree XML and do not over power it you are looking at a max out put of 1000 lumens. Now take In loss and you are at the 700 number. And that is what you get. I drought they are using an XML also. With an h4 housing you have the option to upgrade the bulb and get over 1200+ lumens. Or go with a properly done hid projector retro and be able to blow any led headlight out of the water. My point is that using one led for low beam is not enough to make an awesome light that compeats with the other types of forward lighting on the market.

My truck lites have one led for low beam and they are bright. I don't see the point of doing a "proper" hid projector conversion when the legality of them is questionable. After running led headlights I'll never switch to anything else in this jeep.

Oh say it isn't so thread followers. We mustn't make decisions about this light until Test4echo above enlightens us to his already installed light enlightenment - as he is all knowing - yet without camera - but very smart...for he says above " I have companies to run"

Pray he finds a camera - or that he confesses that through his many worldly companies he is rebadging someone else's light and passing it off as his own - or that by Sema we hear more about how he can only give us another straw of info.

Be well everyone.

LOL.

Given his busy schedule, SEMA will probably beat him to the punch. If this light is not unveiled at SEMA, the largest aftermarket product event of the year, then the light has problems.

In any case, the side discussions seems to be the classic "a single HID lamp can put out more lumens than an LED". For now that is true but given the benefits of longevity, power consumption and design flexibility that will change. One of the most powerful features are the design flexibility they provide by aggregating multiple light sources instead of building one monolithic unit. No doubt HID bulbs coupled (only) with a projector produces a powerful light source with a great beam pattern but LED's have already demonstrated they can be used effectively with both with reflectors (Trucklites which are cheaper) as well as projectors (JWS). Putting HID bulbs in the stock JK housings to search for bird nests in the tree tops is not IMO an effective solution.

I did a bunch of Googling and came up dry. I contacted the company's sales dept to get the lowdown on pricing and fulfillment times. I haven't heard back yet.
