questions about installing led tails

I got the maxxima hybrid series lights, one of my stockers was smashed by a local hooligan (along with my soft top rear window being sliced open) is it just a matter of spicing the wiring? Should I use wire taps?

Ya splice the wires drill the hole and run a ground to the tub. I prefer to cut the pigtail off the tails so to not cut the main harness then solder the led pigtail to the original tail pigtail. You may also need an led flasher to get rid of hyper flash. Don't forget to add a tag light.

I got the plate lights, and the ep-26 flasher. But that's a smart plan hacking into the tail light side of the harness rather then the main harness side..
