Recon marker light is blinking

I'm not much of an electrician so any help on this one will be greatly appreciated. One of my recon marker lights has started to blink. Actually it appears to be only half of LEDs in the one light (drivers side) that are blinking. It's been an absolutely frigid winter here so I'm guessing that might have had an impact. Hopefully I don't have to replace it since it's only a year old. Thanks.

Oh wow...this is to weird. I have the Recon fender and grill lights. The grill lights are fine but the both fender lights started to have a similar problem recently (at the same time). The driver side will slow blink randomly (not supposed to) for a short while and then tirn off completely and the passenger side will stay lit but a few of the LED's will stay off. I'm guessing its a cold issue. Friend of mine thinks the resistors went bad. Not trying to hijack your thread but I was planning on posting this myself Lol. Hopefully some kind folks will chime in.

Update on the problem: I'm at the shop where I had the lights installed (local guy who doesn't try to make 500% profit on every sale) and he told me that this is a common Recon fender light issue. The lights are exposed to the environment because the underside of the fender light area is not covered and this allows the salt, mud, road grime, etc to eat away at the housing and get inside the connectors. So long story short the lights are shot. Need new ones. Obviously the OEM lights are made a little better and don't usually have this problem. So if he replaces them under warranty ill have to wrap them in something to try to stop this from happening again. To late for a refund. Wish I would have known this before I bought them. Oh well....

He replaced the lights under warranty but warned that if action isn't taken to protect the housings from the environment then there is a good chance they will fail again. I'm going to look into spray on protectants or maybe never wet. But if they fail again the stockers will be going back on with a tint of night shade. Hope it works out for you as well. The salt on the roads is what I hate about Midwest winters but I love to ice fish so I guess it's a trade off.

Side note: as I was leaving the shop, another Jeeper was coming in for the same problem. Recon needs to for sure look in to this and make a change to the production of these lights.

Just spoke to recon. 90 day warranty which I'm well past. They are sending me a new one at "wholesale" cost. Luckily I can buy just the drivers side instead of a whole set. With my luck lately the passenger side will go out right after I replace the other.

Thanks for the info guys.
