Replacing fogs needing advise

I posted this in tech column and got no replies. I'm replacing my front bumper with one that has no fog holes. I'm putting 100w replacement ones in. Can I tap into factory wiring or should I use the wiring with switch that was sent with the lights? Thanks for your help.

Using the wiring that runs directly to your battery instead of plugging into your existing lights would be like running an amp to your door speakers. Yes, it will work either way, depends on how well you want them to work.
