Rigid industries dually's

So I bought a pair of dually's earlier this week. When I went to put the bracket onto the light itself (the bracket that came with it so you can put it on the windshield bracket) the nuts don't fit in the required space. I can't tighten the bolts on the side. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem, and how to fix this issue. I'd love to hook these bad boys up

Hhahaa. This is the same problem 1/2 of the off-brand lights have. The mounting hardware is packaged separately and never checked for fit. Amazon reviews are full of comments from buyers who either drilled out or replaced the bracket/bolt depending on the issue. kinda points to the lights coming from the same facilities even if some parts inside might be different.

The simple solution would be to replace the bolt yourself.

OK just to make sure there's no DOH! moment here...

Are you sure you're using the right nuts? The nuts for mounting the light's brackets to the vehicle are larger than the nuts used to mount the brackets to the lights.

If you're sure you're using the right nuts (before you tried them in the lights you did try screwing the nuts onto the bolts with the hex key heads first just to make sure they're the right ones, right?) and there's still a problem, call Rigid Industries and get a RMA # so you can return the light(s) to them. They will check them and fix them and/or the hardware so they're like new.

You could always call them to talk about the issue too. Let them help you. There's a reason you bought Rigid (Made in America) lights.
