So I bought a pair of dually's earlier this week. OK just to make sure there's no DOH! moment here...
Are you sure you're using the right nuts?
The nuts for mounting the light's brackets to the vehicle are larger than the nuts used to mount the brackets to the lights.
If you're sure you're using the right nuts (before you tried them in the lights you did try screwing the nuts onto the bolts with the hex key heads first just to make sure they're the right ones, right?) and there's still a problem, call Rigid Industries and get a RMA # so you can return the light(s) to them. They will check them and fix them and/or the hardware so they're like new.
You could always call them to talk about the issue too. Let them help you. There's a reason you bought Rigid (Made in America) lights.
