Question rock lights?

Found these today Wurton Pod Rock Light 20031 - Onboard-air.com and thought that they would be awesome if they were wired to the come on when the doors were opened like courtesy lights just under cab, say dead center and stretched as far front to rear as possible?

Any thoughts, have I been drinking to much?

I just ordered 2 pairs. I'll post up some pics of mine once I do the install for you if you'd like?

A bunch of rock crawlers in my home town went to where I work and bought all kinds of big rig marker lights with rubber grommets and put then underneath their tubs.

Worked awesome and very very cheap

i bought some really (really) cheap white 24-LED waterproof strips online and stuck them on the side of the frame rails on my TJ, it was about $25 total between the lights and switch, and they put out a ton of light in the perfect place. it was great on the trail at night with doors off. the guy who bought it is always telling me how cool they are, and i'm really leaning towards picking up another set for the rubi.

Any pics of your old jeep with these on? Thinking about adding some cheap LEDS under my Tj

So I finally got around to installing my lights this week. Here are the pics from my install of my Wurton Pod lights. They are very bright. I may have needed one more set at the back near the bumper but for driving they are more than enough light. I'm really happy with them.

Built brackets and opted to mount them in the front wheel wells and directly under the doors by sandwhiching them between existing plates for my sidesteps and front fender support so I didn't have to drill a bunch of holes in the Jeep.

I just got these from eBay and they produce a ton of light. Small and compact. I'm installing tomorrow and I'll post how they work. Complete kit.

All include Super Bright Jeep Rock Crawl 60 LED Light | eBay

I did the platinum burners from Walmart. Cost $40 total. Very easy to install.. Once installed you can adjust by hand to angle to your preference. When I'm not using, I have angled flat with frame area so you cant see them at all

Here is a few pics right after install

(Platinum burners come in a bunch of different looks. I got the mini rectangle looking ones)
