You'll have to source your own relay, wiring, and switch, but they look EXACTLY the same. The only differences are 1) the Rugged Ridge have black backs, and the Harbor Freight are all chrome, and 2) The Rugged Ridge come with 100w H3 bulbs, and the Harbor Freight come with 55w H3 bulbs. Construction and mounting (right down to the rubber grommets) appear to be identical.
Thorshammer, I picked up those lights too, but they're impossible to aim. The plastic teeth on the mounting bracket only allow you to rotate them at roughly 10 degree intervals, which for me means pointing at the ground in front of the jeep, or at the treetops. There's no way to do any kind adjustment in the middle, much less fine adjustments.
I do really like those lights, as they throw a very narrow, very powerful beam. But if I can't put that beam where I want to, they're useless to me.
Those covers come with them and are built into the light. Had them years ago. Worst set I ever owned for the same reason Charles mentioned. You couldn't aim them and the light output left a lot to be desired.
If you're dead set on HF lights, get these instead.
Yeah those are the ones I picked up the other day. I plasti coated them and now just have to wire them up. I was looking for some kind of cover for them, probably would cost more for the cover then the light thou.
