I've had the TL's in my 2012 Sport for 6 weeks and have not noticed any flicker. I live in a remote area and TL's are such a great improvement over
stock headlights!

PWM shouldn't damage the LED's.

...shouldn't....

Remember that LEDs already have their own PWM driver. Trips my noodle out when I try to calc the concomitant square wave pattern that finally gets to the diode.

But a flickering headlight is still a violation, an infraction, whatever you wanna call it, of FMVSS-108. And reason enough to pull you over and get you a fix-it ticket.

New HID lights on the jeep - YouTube
Cheap & stinky HIDs are fine for offroad. Miserable for onroad....

Is this harness a good one for correcting the flicker? Anybody here familiar with it? Thanks!

I have the 6045 connected to the factory wiring. No flicker. Used the Nemesis Industries Brackets. Very happy with it.

I bought nemesis as well, how long have you had the 6045? I know people who ran the 8700 heads and it took a while before they started to flicker? Thanks.

Has anyone replaced the factory fogs with Hella Micro DEs?
I'm about to do it soon but I gotta figure out a mounting scheme first.

I've had the 6045's for close to a year and the 8700 Evo's since they came out.

I did the Rally harness. Installs just like an HID wiring kit.

Got my Truck-Lite LED's installed over the weekend (2013 JKR). There's a slight flicker at idle, particularly with high beams, but it really isn't an issue on the road. (I can only see it when the lights are shining on a white wall.) I'm really impressed with the color and area of light covered. Here are some pics I took on a local road (sorry, this is as dark as it gets anywhere around here)...

Thanks! I feel the pics don't fully show the full sweep of the LED headlights... It's great to finally be able to see the sides of the road!

Did you have to make any adjustments? I installed mine this evening and they might be aimed a little high. Guess I'll found out if I start getting flashed by on coming drivers.

Not much necessary in the way of adjustments. .. I aimed them against the garage door, and I had to adjust the right one down a little since it seemed too high. They're both aimed a little higher than the stock ones, but they appear less intense from outside from any angle other than straight ahead, so I'm thinking it's ok like this. I haven't been flashed, and there would have been plenty of opportunity by now.

Hey everyone, new to this perticular forum. Just for reference, I am an ASE Master Tech & a Chrysler Certified tech at a Chrysler dealership. If you want really good headlights w/o an flicker issues you need to do a true HID retrofit with a Mopar specific can-bus harness. I have Morimoto H1 bi-xenon projectors on my XJ & my wife's JK. And we have no issues & light output is great.
I get all my HID kits & parts from The Retrofit Source out of Atlanta. They have the best reputation for quality of HID parts & the best customer service in the business. I have talked to the owner & he will give me a discount if I buy at least 10 or more kits at 1 time. I am checkign to see if there is enough interest that I can do a sorta small group buy to retrofit my fellow Jeepers. I use your stock housings to do this. If there is enough interest I will give details on price & what I do. Here is a few pics of my Jeeps. I have done some friends trucks & cars as well. reply here or PM me.
