Discount Fleet Supply with code "lifeisgood5". You'll need the adapter, otherwise should be do-able.

Any problems reinstalling the Euro-Guards over the Recons? I've heard the Recons are a little bigger.

The screws that come with the euro guards to replace the screws that attach the back panel of the lights are too big. To be clear these are the screws on the outward side of each light. I used the ones from the OEM tails instead since the are longer than the ones that come installed on the Recons. They fit perfectly in my opinion.

Certainly love them in comparison to the factory stuff, but they do look awesome. Recon was also pretty great about replacing the original set that had a wiring issues and the second set that arrived in red smoked accidentally.

315/70r/17. They look massive in that photo for some reason.

Installed my truck lite LTD head lights. I'm probably the only one who had an issue with one of the lights not sitting correctly in the plastic housing. Passenger side took 5 minutes. Drivers side just did not want to sit tight in the housing. Thought the silver trim ring would hold it, it did but if I took my hand and moves it, it rattled ?? After four try's of removing and reinstalling I finally took electric tape and placed around bottom and top perimeter where new back of light sits in housing. That stopped the movement / rattling. Placed back the silver trim ring and tight for now! Very strange! At least they look good! Check out the pics !

Nope, same side here. I put a layer of tape around the light.

There is a post early in this thread that details my installation. I'll look and see if I can pinpoint the post (s).

My first post is on page 5. I asked some pertinent questions. My install thread is on page 9. The switch is mounted on the a pillar trim, just above the dash. Very unobtrusive but easy to see and reach. Just used the switch that came with the kit.

HIDs in! Forum member crawlin_archer, built these for me. Thanks! Haven't tested them on the street yet, but the light is bright white with a sharp cutoff. The pic of them on looks more "blue" than they are in person. They came with a new harness and are bi-xenon so brights are maintained. Installation is pretty straightforward and is basically plug, route, and play. It took me a couple of hours with part of that being devoted to re-plastidipping my grille and tinting the turns.

Those are pretty sweet. I like them!! Yeah pics make them look blue but the 5000k bulbs aren't. They are close to oem HID with a bit more white. And they get brighter after about 10-20hrs of actual burn time. After installing them in both of my Jeeps I hate to drive or ride in a car w/o HIDs now. It just seems unsafe after finally seeing the light!!!

Just got the pilot PL360c fog lights. I plan on replacing the factory OEM Fog lights this week. I also got lamin x to protect the glass. Which do you like better the clear one or the smoked one? I have my blinkers lightly smoked and I have the gray Oscar Mike front grill. Options please....thanks

Putzy Are those Fog lights direct replacement for your stock fog lights and did you need any other brackets?

I actually have not installed them yet. I attempted to but the bolts I had were to long so I have a had a chance to attempt to do it again. There is no other bracket. Just use the factory fog bracket. By u have to buy spacers to fit them on. Hope this helps.

Back on the lighting track...

I got the Truck-lites and like them a lot. They have a lot more artifacts than I would have preferred, but until I feel like I can afford the real projectors they will do just fine for me. I'm happy with the output.

They have, however, made my stock fogs in the JK useless. I don't need them really, but i'm thinking that some Rigids with the flat mounting bracket might be very nice down there for offroad use. My main question is: Do people prefer the flood or spot in the stock fog light location on JK's?
