These are a good option as well. I ran a set of these before switching to the ones I previously posted about. I still like these better than the ones I'm running now but the lens I got on now are a close second. These run around $230 shipped for a set

They require no trimming on a TJ or JK and are plug and play

Them on my JK

Light output

Cutoff

Lo beam

Hi beam

I can tell you, don't buy the garbage Chinese,Korean,Philipino garbage they sell after they slap an American flag on em. I saw a couple of good Youtube vids regarding Headlights and they warned about these garbage lights that are look alikes for the expensive stuff. The Jeep I bought a couple of weeks ago (2004 Rubi) have some of these on it and they put out less light than the orange marker lights. And Im not joking. I will be needing to replace very quickly. Watching this thread closely to figure out what to buy.

I ordered the JW speakers and I agree are expensive, even with the 20% off they were north of $700 Canadian...they are also arguably the best headlight available. My Jeep isn't a daily driver but I drive it, my wife drives it and we often have our two children in tow. To me it came down to the fact that I can afford them and provided the Jeep is mechanically sound (ours is) I would say good headlights are up there near the top of the list of things that improve safety. In my opinion they also look cool so that's a bonus. Anyway I'll post pics once they show up!

At the time I did my dim headlights over, I needed new adjustment ring too. So I got a set a Crown halogen lights that had the rings installed. It was literally plug and play and got way more light out (actually so much people think my highs are on) The kicker is I think total it cost me <$200 with shipping n' all.
I know the subject of which lights are best has been beat to death, but the original subject was just which ones are truly plug and play. You're right about the cost of JW Speaker but I can afford them and feel the trade off for increased safety is worth it so what the hell.

JW Speaker headlights are made in Wisconsin! Are some components imported? Probably...what electronics don't have some imported parts, these days? They also have a lifetime warranty...backed up by an old company right here in WI, not by some Chinese company that will be gone in 6 months.

You might want to be more careful about spreading misinformation like that. They could actually sue you for that, if they were so inclined.

Well, I stand corrected. If one of my LED headlight bulbs fail, they are warranted for 3 years. Beyond that, I guess I'll have to spend another $30.00.

Both our Halo and EVO II headlights work with a TJ and are plug and play.

Both are currently on sale, and if you use discount code "headlight" you can save an additional $50.00 for a short time.

I actually have the Halo lights on my TJ.

Put the JW Speakers in today, truly plug and play. Haven't had a chance to drive in the dark with them but they work incredibly well in the driveway. So far very happy with them.
