Above sounds like a good way to go if you are on a budget. I was looking for something that lasts the life of the jeep with a nice white useable light. It cost more but I'll never go back to halogen if I can get LEDs to bolt in and be legal.

I understand what you're saying but...

It wasn't so much that I'm on a "budget" - I've seen the Truck-Lites and read the reviews here and elsewhere and they're not, IMO, what I'd like them to be in terms of output (light pattern or coverage) especially for their cost.

And taking another step or two up just makes headlight replacement/upgrading an extremely expensive proposition (JW Speakers or HIDs, etc.).

At some point spending money to improve performance becomes an issue of balancing how much performance for how much money (unless you have a lot of money and then it doesn't much matter).

Can't say I disagree with any of that. 370 is still a lot of money for headlights and I paid more than that. I never considered speakers either. Just too pricey. I'm thinking if truck Lites can get to 300 a pair they will become the headlight to buy. I think that's a price point where value and performance meet.

The install looks super clean. The Sr-Series makes for a very stealthy look. Thank you for supporting Rigid Industries!!!

Quality brand and product. However your prices are horrible. Aurora LEDs compete with your LEDs with the same interior components and housing with just a different reflector. They also sell each led you do but at half the price for every single item. I chose aurora and wouldn't look back unless rigid decides to change their ridicolously priced LEDs vs competitors.

Well I see your point. I don't think I could justify $1500 if I was looking for a 50 inch. I paid under $300 for my little 10 inch. I didn't see the point of buying a $200 one since the Rigid is guaranteed for life and I do believe it's a better product. Time will tell if I made the right decision.

Easy there cowboy. There are a lot of reasons to buy a product beyond cost. You are driving a Jeep not a Suzuki Samurai, right? Why didn't you just buy a used FJ Cruiser? They're the same thing, right? A vehicle with seats and four wheel drive. Why pay more for a Jeep?

If you think all LED lights are the same, made the same, performing the same, same LUX, same R&D and engineering, same guarantee then you need to buy some Duracell LED flashlights and tape them to your bumper.

Now THAT would be

I can tell you that I've used Rigid Industries products for years now and they deliver the output and quality product that I expect when I bought them and installed them on my vehicles.

And when I returned them for refurbishment the company delivered incredible service - THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS AND THEIR WARRANTY.

THAT'S what should be important to buyers not just price.

----------------------

Just curious - what does your company do? Do they sell a commodity that people buy solely on price or does quality enter into what they do?
