Trying to mount two KC Apollo lights to my bumper and wire them to the fog light...

switch on the light stem.

How should I do this? or Can I do this? I'm wanting the look of the KC lites and the function of them as well. I want to have the ability to kick out some extra candlepower in low light off road scenarios and also on the lonely country road at night so I can see what's coming.

Any thoughts?

Are you retaining the fog lights? Even if you aren't the KCs probably draw lots more than the factory fogs which are 37w each. You need to add relay and separate fuse. Fog light circuit will power the relay. Run some 12 gauge to power the KCs.

if the kc's came with a relay use that one..if not pick one up from any auto parts store. wire as follows: from battery (+) to inline fuse to pin 30 on relay. pin 85 to ground (-). pin 87 to the apollo lights. tap off line going to stock fogs. Add inline fuse and connect to pin 86 on relay. Stock fogs will trigger the relay which will then turn on the kc lights.
