Windshield lights

I was wondering what light beam is best for mounting in a windshield bracket. I'm thinking about driving lights what your opinion.

Thanks

A lot of people will say spot pattern is the best, lack of hood glare and such.

Agree with both above posts. I also bought spot pattern for my windshield mounts as I heard they had the least glare. Plus I want long range lights higher and I dont have a roof rack.

Ok thanks. How bad would the glare from a set of driving lights be?

Normally you want to keep driving lights down low so you can get the best results. Such as mounting them on the bumpers.

Like most things we add to our Jeeps, everyone is different, every Jeep is different, it really comes down to preference and what YOU like the best.

Has anyone put the KC Apollo pro lights at the windshield? Or do you not like them since everyone seems to recommend the slim light

I have some 24 volt Truck-Lite military LED route clearance lights, thinking about replacing the KC's mounted on my A pillars with. Kinda prefer Lightforce lights though.

I bought the apollo pros because I didn't see the point in the extra money for the slims. Haven't put them on yet.

On the grill tube I have the 100w 6" driving Slimlights and on the bottom I have the 55w 6" Apollo driving lights.

I can take more pics. What would you like me to take pics of? Just different angles? Close ups? Happy to comply.

I'm thinking about getting some 3x2's myself - which includes a spot and flood pattern.

What do you guys think of these? KOR LED Elite 3x2 Cube

Not sure if you're set on the 3x2s, but I'd look into Olympus Offroad, if I were you. This set of cubes cost less and puts out more lumens than the ones you linked to 16w Square Pods with Colored Lenses ( Pair )

I can personally vouch for their LED quality and output. I have one set of Rigid Duallys, one set of Apocalyptic Lighting LED cubes, and an Olympus (Zeus) 12" Pro Series dual row bar and I will only buy from Olympus from now on. Their lights are absolutely amazing. My 12" bar that cost $260 puts out the same amount of light as the $1,000, 20" E-Series Rigid bar. They do come from China but they're not the cheap ones like on ebay etc and 99% of LEDs are coming from China and being re-branded nowadays.

They also offer a no questions asked lifetime warranty and wiring harness (nice weatherproof wiring, switch, relay) included and they usually include a set of $30 rock lights at no cost, free shipping, & 10% off if you PM D_sach on Pirate. (he's with Olympus)

I like your setup. Out of curiosity where did you mount all the switches?

Thanks. I have them hooked up through the Daystar Lower Dash Switch Panel. I love the look and the placement of the switches with the panel. I got the panel and switches off amazon.
