Yellow fog light bulbs

The factory 24 watt fog bulbs in my 10A bumper were totally useless so I started looking for something to replace them with. Turns out that an H16 bulb will plug right in if you file off one little tab. I found a set of 35 watt yellow halogen fogs sold by Putco. Only 30 bucks so I thought I'd give them a try. Not spectacular but definitely worth the $30 upgrade.

Truck Lite Headlights and yellow halogen fogs.

Hi. I'm looking to do the exact same set up. . Yellow fogs first then truck lites after. How are you liking that set up? My only concerns are bumping up the fogs from 24 to 35 watts and possible melting either the fog light housing or the wiring.

They do work pretty well. Not fantastic but I do have useable light compared to the useless output with the stock bulbs. As far as increased wattage is concerned, I've had no issues so far even though I programmed them as my DRL's. I drove 2 1/2 hours straight on Saturday with them on and all is good. I think you will be fine with these.

I run a similar setup as well. I have 6000K HID's in my headlights, and 3000K HID's in my fog lights. The yellow is phenomenal for bad weather.
