1989 YJ Project $2000 OBO

We have a 1989 YJ 4.2 I-6 with a 5 speed tranny for sale. This is a complete project YJ that just needs someone who knows YJs to put it back together. Motor is solid, tranny is solid, but Slave Cylinder went out, so we purchased a new Clutch Kit that has not been installed yet. Drivers' floor board has been cut out to accept the new pan we purchased but haven't put in. More Photos can been seen at

This YJ is bone stock and could make a great trail rig or daily driver. Hard top and full steel doors from a CJ7, YJ soft door bottoms from Bestop. New TJ mirrors as well as old style Square mirrors.

Please email at dmressler at gmail dot com or call/ text to seven 1 seven 3 four 1 five 4 eight 4. We are located in Holtwood, PA, 20 minutes south of Lancaster. Title in hand.

If we part out the Jeep, The full doors will be available, but I'd be keeping the hard top. I've found that it is possible to fit it to my TJ. I can let you know if we do part it out.

Littlethimble,

You have a great jeep there!! At an excellent price. If you go any lower, you will be letting someone steal it from you. If I was you, I would keep it all together and sell it together. That way, a "low baller" doesn't screw you out of another $500. If i had the money, I would buy it for my daughter... but I don't. Good luck with it.

Take care,

Thanks 1SAS. We can't afford to go any lower at this point. That's what we have invested. We're trying to move out of my parents house so this will be our moving money. Have had some interest, so maybe this will bring the buyer out of the woodwork.
