My 2000 flame red Jeep Wrangler was hit in March and the insurance company declared it a total loss. It was hit on the driver-side corner. The extent of the exterior damage is the fender flare, fender, tire, front bumper and the hood is slightly shifted. It looks barely hit, however they suspected that the suspension, axial housing, possibly the axial and steering column may have been effected.
That being said, the Jeep was in FANTASTIC condition. I put a new 4 cylinder engine in it in September 2011. Less then a month before the accident I put brand new Corbeau Sport seats in the front. The passenger seat has literally never been sat it.
I also within the month of the accident put on 5 brand new black American racing 15 inch wheels and 5 brand new Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires on it (31x10.50R15LT).
The one tire was damaged in the accident and I'm guessing it will need replaced, however all 5 wheels are in excellent condition. It has a fairly new soft top, half doors and front slider side windows. SUPER clean inside and out. I live and work in the same place and never took it off road.
I am attempting to sell the new seats and wheels separately on this board if I am not able to sell the Jeep together as is.
Jeep will need to be towed.
First two pics are from just before the accident. All others are post collision:
