2003 Jeep Wrangler *Low Miles*

Sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. And I gotta sell the Jeep.

Make: Jeep
Model: Wrangler
Year: 2003
Mileage: 38,000
Engine: 4.0 Inline 6 Cylinder
Transmission: Automatic
Price: Hearing reasonable offers

Brand new, just installed: EBC Yellow Stuff high performance brake pads. Centric premium rotors, optima yellow top battery.

4 inch suspension lift
1 inch body lift
35x12.50r15 BF Goodrich t/a Mud Terrain KM2's
Never been used fullsize spare tire
Swaybar Quick Disconnects
LoD Competition series front bumper, installed last month
Smittybuilt XRC 10,000lbs winch, installed new last month, only used once
Body Armor rear bumper with spare tire swing arm
2 gerry cans, mounted on rear bumper
60 inch High Lift jack, mounted on rear bumper
4 Hella 500 lights
KC windshield light mounts
Tons more to list...

The lifts were professionally installed right here in Roanoke, Va. Very well maintaned, all fluids serviced religiously. Off-roaded when I got the chance but never abused.

Kelley Blue Book values this Jeep over $15,000 stock plus $5,000 in upgrades and modifications. Hearing reasonable cash offers and possible trades.

Thanks much! I hope I can get a reasonable price for it. I have gotten some pretty low ball offers, maybe some real Jeepers on here can appreciate it for what its worth.

Thanks for the offer bud, haha. I got one almost decent offer but the guy was a total douche. Im looking at a trade for an 01 Ford thats lifted about 9 inches on 39 1/2" super swampers but its above the legal height and needs tires. If he puts new 37's on there it be about legal he will just have to add cash on top to make a trade. Im also gonna look at a really nice lifted Grand Cherokee Laredo but he will have to put enough cash on top to make it worth while. I really want to just sell it to get the cash to get exactly what I want and to pay some bills.

Sell me that Grand National in the background...

Seriously, though, if I hadn't just bought my wife a Forrester, I'd be all over it. Hope it finds a good home...

I have been lowballed with offers around $9-11k and even offered legit prices $13-14k, is this Jeep really not even worth Blue Book to anyone?

Blue book is just a reference point. It's only worth as much as someone is willing to pay you. Unfortunately over $5k in mods really doesn't help your asking price all that much, you hardly ever get your $ out of mods/upgrades. And this is not a very easy time to try to sell a vehicle especially a 8 year old one for $15k.

Don't get me wrong, you have a very nice looking rig there and it probably is worth around the $15k your asking, it's just not easy to get someone to part with that kind of cash right now on a 2003 TJ.

Im not trying to get a nickel back that I have put in it. Its worth closer to $16k according to KBB so I dont think a grand under KBB for a vehical with these low miles is unreasonable. I have less miles than my buddies 2006 TJ and mine is in better shape. I just want to get something different and im not gonna take less than my asking price which, again, I dont think is unreasonable for what im selling.

16000 is full blown retail. Private party is 13-14 in my area, my offer would be in that range. It comes down to preference, alot of guys I know don't want a automatic, I just test drove an 07 sahara ( don't like it : ) for 16000. even had a d44 rear. My jeep list for $8000 but there's no way in hell I'm going to get that. I do like that jeep though. Id like to sell mine but nobody's taking interest being it's old and high miles : (

Don't take any of those low ball offers. That's every dollar worth between 15 and 16. You might have to wait it out for a while but someone will eventually buy it. advertise as much as possible...craigslist, traders guide, etc...Whatever you have available in your area. Try to get it listed in NOVA...Worst case scenario start selling the accessories since QUOTE "their not going to get you any more money"

I really appreciate that, I would love to sell it asap but don't want to settle on the price.
