2006 TJ Rubicon

This is a 2006 Black Jeep Rubicon with all the right upgrades. 4" Rock Crawler Long-Arm suspension lift, 1" Body lift with adjustable Coil spacers. 4 to 1 Transfer case with 4.56 gears. ARB (non factory rubicon) Dana 44 rear axle with onboard air compressor. Front axle is a Dana 30, was going to put a 60 in but havent gotten to it yet. Transfer case skidplates. Aftermarket Stereo with bluetooth and hands free phone interface. New vertically driven products soundbar. Rockers are rhino lined. 35" BFG Mud terrains (90% tread left) on black 15x8 wheels. Front Swaybar quick disconnects. Heavy duty front bumper with stinger. 6-speed manual with new clutch with less than 5000 miles on it. Everything was built professionally, no death wobble or vibrations. Very smooth and comfortable even at 75 MPH on the highway.

Nice build, but why does a Rubicon have a Dana30 front? And the ARB is nice, but what happened to the factory rear axle? Setting off alarm bells for me.

I asked the same question. I know the PO well, he is the service manager at a local off road shop. Long story short, the factory axles were pulled out and sold for a really good price in anticipation of putting in a 14 bolt rear/ Dana 60 front, but unplanned circumstances delayed the build, so these axles went in for the meantime because they were immediately available. The build never got further and he had to sell the jeep for family reasons.
