Talking 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara

I am looking to sell my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Asking $28,000 obo. I don't really need to sell it as it is an awesome rig, but I miss having a fast vehicle. With this new job and addiction to speed; I'm on a search for an SRT8. There are 19,200 miles on it, warranty is up November 2011. It's completely loaded: a 4-speed automatic, power windows and locks, A/C, running boards, aluminum wheels, removable hardtop, Infinity 6 speaker system with powered sub with 1 year left of Sirius satellite radio. It doesn't have a tow hitch, but that is easy to add later. It is completely stock except for 35w HID headlights, window tint, and black factory 18" wheels. The Jeep is in basically mint condition, except for a crack in the windshield which I can have replaced. It has had all factory recalls taken care of and has never been smoked in.

I take great care and pride in all of my vehicles...you can see them here:

I spend most of my days in western ND where there is little to no cell service, but contact me through this thread or PM and the email notification will get to my phone when there is service. Thanks!

No one is looking for a low mileage unmolested JKU? I suppose everyone here already has a jeep? lol...oh well. maybe I can flag down a potential owner researching Wrangers like I did many months ago.

I realize I'm in middle of nowhere ND, I would be willing to comp some money into a plane ticket/train/grey hound ect.

The closer you get to summer the more lurkers will be around. All good things come to those who wait. I say be patient and you will sell it. Maybe some topless pics to perk interest. Cheers.

I'd buy it, if I had the money. That's almost exactly what I want in my next Jeep.

i came from an srt8 jeep...car was sick but also had many negatives..front tires would go bald every 20 k (not just mine but many others too) obviously gas mileage. tranfer case would make noises, rear diffs would howl even after servicing and fluid change. trans was ready to go around 50k. dont do it

thanks for the input...that tires statement got me thinking about winter. Any decent winter tire to fit those 20"s is going to be stupid expensive. I'll keep researching SRT8s

Get a Bike and keep the Jeep. A bike would beat that car every day and twice on Sunday. Not to mention they can be had for pretty cheap. I have an R6, and another thing to consider is that bike will get 40mpg not to mention 150mph or so. I'm sure you cant say that about the car!

I think you are asking too much but that's just my opinion. I bought an 08 Sahara Unlimited in Oct. I bought it from a dealer and got an ext. warranty. It had 21000 miles on it and I got it for $23,000. Maybe think about lowering the price.

Congrats. Thank you for the constructive post as well. The OBO leaves it wide open for offers. I'm content with what the dealership is giving me trade in value but I'd rather not go that route. This is $2000 under NADA...which is what banks give loans for.
