Motor and transmission were pulled out of a 2004 escalade LQ9/4L60E combo with about 20-30k on them and have maybe another 10k on them now. Have two sets of rims/tires both with very low mileage, a set of M/T signature series with summer tires (have five matching rims/tires) and a set of A/R Outlaw II's with A/T tires (four plus a cheapo non matching spare). Transfer case is the one that originally came in the jeep with a HD chain set and conversion parts. Rear end is a ford 8.8 with posi, 3.73 gears and discs. Shifter is a lokar mechanical linkage (had a B&M with cable but didn't work worth a damn) with digital gear shift indicator, the console cover isn't perfect but I made it myself and it works. Four bilstein shocks with less than 2k on them. 6" xenon flares put on about the same time as the shocks. Clarion head unit with USB/Bluetooth, polk 5.25" fronts, and polk 6.5" on the bar and an Infinity Bass Link self powered sub. Also have a soft top kicking around that I'll throw in if I can find it, came with it but I'm not sure if it's ever been used.
I ran it last year from July to December and parked it when it started snowing so it wouldn't get eaten up by the NY salt. Runs and drives just fine, just selling because I'm in college full time and downgraded to an old saturn econo car since I don't want all my money tied up in a vehicle.
I bought it from Jim Brink who did the conversion, you can look him up, he's done a bunch of conversions and has a few of them in magazines.
Price is $14500 obo, knock $400 off if you don't want the Outlaws or $600 off if you don't want the M/T's.
Will post a video soon but for now, plenty of pictures:
It does what I needed, just bottom fill. If I played with it and fine tuned it I think it would have sounded better but I'm still learning on the specifics for car audio. It makes more than enough bass for me. I had it turned down quite a bit, but then again I just like SQ and not huge earth shattering sound and feel.
I can't realistically ask anyone to go through the large ordeal of making a trade. If you're crazy enough to make it worth my time that'd be something but I'm trying to get from 6 vehicles to 3 right now and I'd just be selling anything traded to me. I don't have plates for it and I can't as a seller get transit tags for it to meet you anywhere. If you want to trade you would have to drive your vehicle here and take mine home. My zip is 13669.
Going to give it a bath and take some fresh pics then putting it back on ebay later this week.
If you look at the ebay pictures the underbody looks a lot worse off than it really is. Going to knock the surface rust off and paint it with rustoleum to seal out any future rust formation. Will probably be doing that Monday along with a bit more engine cleaning and posting up some new pictures. Just food for thought in case anyone was on the fence.
