99 Sahara

A co worker of mine has a 99 Sahara and is wanting to sell it. He is getting pictures and will give me a brief rundown of it later today or tomorrow. What I know is this.

1) Stock suspension that has not been modified
2) 187000 miles
3) there is an issue with the blend door preventing the A/C from working
4) hard top
5) no rear seat

Overall the Jeep is in fair condition. He is wanting to get $5000 for it. He does not "need" to sell it, so probably won't budge much on the price. PM me if there is interest. We are close to Richmond VA.

Pics as promised and much to my own surprise it has a Dana 44 in it. Belt, pulleys, fan clutch, rear main seal and oil pan gasket, fuel filter, heater core, clock spring, have all been replaced within the last year

Fair condition per KBB is about $4900 as per the norm, wranglers sell for well over KBB. The upside is the D44, hardtop and full doors and this one has not been modded.

What makes you think it would not pass an inspection? I'm pretty sure that it would!

He ain't coming down so don't wait on a response! This is not mine and I agree I would not pay that ammount for it. It is his and as I have stated he does not "need" to sell it. Again KBB in fair condition it's worth what he is asking pretty much.

Hey no worries man. It's his Jeep and he can ask whatever he wants for it. I'm sure he will eventually get a buyer.

FYI MD inspection requires the ac to be working (I only know because my coworker just bought the Jeep I was trying to get and seller paid to have ac fixed that caused inspection fail). I'm due it's no biggie but I do think he would have a better chance of getting his asking if he fixed the ac and picked up a rear seat.
