Aurora 6 LED Offroad Lights

Hey guys, Im selling 2 PAIRS of my Aurora LED offroad lights. I originally bought 8 units to use on my roof rack, but my build plans have changed and I only need 4, so two pairs are going up for sale. These are BRAND NEW IN BOX.

(The blue is just protective tape.)

They are solid aluminum housings, and are also IP68 waterproof rated, as well as military grade. The use stainless hardware and GE Lexan Polycarbonate for the lenses. They build their own circuitboards as well.
AURORA Factory - AURORA

Now, the inevitable question...how do these compare to the Rigid D2s....well, honesty is the best policy. The optics on the rigids are superior. While the Auroras are great as well, the rigids have a more even spread. These are driving beam pattern, as are my rigids. The rigids throw light WIDER and even across the range. The auroras are slightly narrower, but brighter towards the center. I would say the rigids are 10% better. Rigids also cost 100% more. You make the call.

The price is $200 per PAIR.

Just so people know I walk the walk as well, my 50" and my bumper bar are both Aurora units.

Will ship at buyers expense, but I doubt it would be too much. Probably around 10 bucks with USPS, maybe even less.

Any questions, ask away.

I found a pair of rigid d2's on eBay for 170. What do they normally run?

Yes, still available. There is no way you found D2s for $170 a pair. You probably found a pair of duallys, not D2s. If you did find D2s, post up a link. At $170 a pair, I'll buy them as well.

Haha It says dually D2. What's the difference between the duallys and the d2'?

Hey, I'm curious, on the Aurora website I only see the cube lights with 4 LED's not 6. Is this model not available anymore?

You can either buy a pack of weathertight female connectors, or cut this one off and use any connector you want. Delphi connectors aren't cheap (about $2 each) so a lot of people do this...they buy an HID harness like this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OPT7-HID-Ant...342f94&vxp=mtr

and then slice off the connector with the wire, makes the job super easy.

It is, you just need to get in touch with someone at the factory directly and they will help you out. Their service to me has been great. Just a note, if you are thinking of placing an order from the factory, make sure you account for the customs fees. The fees are charged on a full amount (can't scheme and put a $1 value, since fedex is the shipper and Aurora insures the shipment for full value).

Thanks for the reply, I'm debating picking up the set you have, but was asking because If I wanted to add another matching set from them...but I really shouldn't spend the money right now so I'll just keep thinking about it

I see them on the web for $150. I can offer that for your last pair.

If you found the 6 led lights for $150 a pair buy them. If you can post a link here, ill buy a set too. They cost me more after shipping and customs fees. Even amazon sells the 4 LED light for $96.99. I did find the 6 LED unit for 149.99 but that's for a single light. I'm selling a PAIR.

Could I cut/splice the wires for my fog lights and use those wires? Is that even practical?

You can easily do that, but they are extremely bright, and I'd think you would have issues with blinding oncoming traffic.

True, I'm just doing some reading up on installing a seperate switch to somewhere on the dash. It doesn't seem like a hard process, just never tried wiring up aux lighting before.

Would you consider free shipping as a little military discount?

As much as I respect our military veterans, Im not making anything on this deal. I am simply selling them for my cost. Free shipping would end up costing me money. I could have done the ebay scam, charging $250 for the lights with big neon free shipping letters, but I didn't want to screw our community members. USPS would probably cost somewhere in the 10-15 range I assume, but it could be less.

The lights come with a harness and a switch, so it comes with everything you need for installation.

I do, but only as a "gift" so that they don't slap me for 3%. Like I said, I posted these lights for sale ONLY on WF, to give you guys the best deal. I originally bought them for personal use, but build plans changed, and these won't work (fit) so I am selling them for exactly what they cost me...actually a few bucks less. I can take Paypal sent as a gift or a personal check (which I need to clear).

I know exactly what you mean by sending as gift. That's how I do all my fantasy football payments. PM coming your way.
