It's a harness system to hold your dog.

Welcome to Buckle-Up-Pup | Products
Quote:
Harness

Includes Full Harness, Seat Belt Clip and Instructions

The Buckle-Up-Pup Harness System features the unique combination of a chest and rear harness. The "V" tie-down clips the harness to a seat belt or to an anchor point* below the dog's belly. This allows the dog to move freely around this central point, without getting tangled in the straps. The dog can stand, sit, lie down and turn around, but can not jump out or be thrown from the vehicle.

Your dog ain't smart enough to stay in the vehicle or what? Or is it for offroading.

It's for on and offroad. His safety and mine. I don't want to have to check on him constantly while driving to the Cape this summer.

Has nothing to do with smarts. If there's an accident or some really rough road, it's just a good way to keep your dog safe.

Sixdoubleseven, what kind of dog have you got?
Good luck finding the buckle-up-pup. It's a good idea.

I've got a 5 month old black lab named Cooper. He's a great dog.

This is a couple days after we brought him home in mid January (he was 8 weeks at the time).

Three months later, next to the same table, he's HUGE!! About 30 pounds in this pic, should get up to about 80.

He should get to be about the same size as his best friend Bailey (yellow lab, 3 years old)

You just gotta love those labs! Great looking pup.

My 10-1/2 yr old princess owns the backseat.

Thanks Amy, but it says they're out of stock. I emailed the comapany and the founder got back to me and said she'd sell me one while they do a production/distribution change. She said she'd let me place an order for their remaining stock, which is exactly what I was looking for.
