Question Camo pool ball shifter

So after reading through the post from the guy in PA and seeing all the requests for camo pool ball shifters, I am strongly considering buying a drill press, bits, and taps and just start making them myself. I really want one as well. The only problem is that I will have to pay a guy in my hometown to dip them after I drill and tap them, and unless I can get him down in price it will be a bit pricey! That said...... How many people would be interested in purchasing one of these?

OK so it looks like I would be able to get them done and sold for $40 plus shipping. I can not do them for an auto due to the release button. They would be for the screw on manual shifters.

There's no button on a 13.

Didn't realize but I've been talking to phillies as well. I would however like to help someone get something started. He's stating $40 for 2. Are you able to get close to that? What are your thoughts?

5/16" auto shaft and about a 3/8" transfer shaft. There's no button anymore.

Image upload keeps crashing so maybe it will load.

May want to check with him again. He is charging $40 plus shipping per college team ball. Nevertheless $40 per is about the cheapest I can go.

Can you get me both the shaft diameter as well as the thread pitch for your shifter? I will need these in order to make the knob for you. For example the TJ has a 10mmx1.5.

I have tried finding it on the net and have been unsuccessful. I did however read that some of the newer Jeeps have a slip on knob with a retaining clip. If this is the case with the 2013 you will have to modify some way to get threads on it. There are options listed through out the forums, but the most logical to me which I did not see is to get a dye and make threads directly on the shaft. Either way up to those who need it.

Finished shifter knob. Still not in my possession but I will have it Friday night. I will likely be drilling this weekend to get 16 of these coated next week. I should be able to get them shipped starting 9 March. I will post more pics with different angles when I have it.

Can't do that right now but I want 2 for sure. Maybe next month. Great work.

Found this vid on a 13 with the setscrew method to give you an idea of the 13 autos. No threads.

Look like a good idea, however I do not have access to the adapter kits with the set screws. In addition, my experience with set screws on shifters has not been a pleasent one. They generally continue to come loose repeatedly.

Agreed, I just thought it would help by letting you view the shafts.
