D30 & D44 axles

Posted on my local craigslist ad:

This ad is for a set of front & rear whole axle assemblies. I purchased them from someone that had them on his 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. They were the stock axles from the factory. Front axle is a Dana 30 with 3.73 gears, while the rear is a Dana 44 with disc brakes in the rear. The previous owner said the rear 44 has got welded (3.73) gears & superior chromoly axle shafts. I was going to put them on my 1997 Wrangler, but a purchase of a ďnew to meĒ car has got my money tied up. These are in great shape and I believe have less than 60k miles on them (but Iím not 100% sure). They have never been used by me & they are just sitting on jack stands in my garage. The person I bought the axles from left the parking brake cables attached. I donít have any pictures yet, but will try to get them this week.

Please scammers don t waste my time by saying youíre out of town and your secretary will send me money. Also don t bother sending emails telling me to check out other sites. For serious buyers/inquiries, respond with a phone number in your email so I know youíre a real person that isnít just wasting my time. I will either call/text or just continue answering questions through emails if I know youíre really interested. I am not a store, so I canít offer any kind of warranty or return, so the item is being sold as is with no warranty. Please ask questions prior to purchase.

Please feel free to email me with any questions. You can email me at EBXGSXR (at) YAHOO (dot) COM

I am asking $2000 obo for the set (both axles). I donít want to split up yet, unless there are buyers for both axles.

D44 was optional and it also came with a few editions like Rocky mountain edition. Mine has the same d 30 d 44 open open 3.73 ratio.

just got this additional info from the previous owner:

"the rear axle also has the Clayton off road shock relocation kit on it and it has the disk brakes with an e-brake"

that's what i was going to put them on. the previous owner just said i'd have to have the driveshaft measured/possibly replaced....which i had to do when i was installing my other lift on my other jeep.

ok. we sold the wife's car. now trying to get her new one. could use some extra cash for her "new to her car".....price is best offer. throw out a number. worst i could say is no, but i could say yes.

Man Id love to have these fo sho. I mean I dont really need a d30 since I have one already but it would be nice to have that one to not need to regear. The 3.73s wont be enough but that will get me by better then these 3.07s are for now. Problem is IM BROKE after getting married.

Im gonna call my credit union tomorrow and see what I got going on but dont get your hopes up on me.
