D60 and D44, perfect for TJ/YJ swap, 1" wider than stock Jeep axles (Pinckney, Michig

I have for sale a set of axles I pulled from a project bronco truck that a guy stopped building. The rear axle is a D60 and only 1" wider than a stock Jeep axle (TJ/YJ), 63" wms to wms. Has 4.10 gears and a precision gears Power-Lok. All brackets have already been cut off. No brakes. All work has been done, just needs brakes and brackets of choice. Front is a D44. Complete, minus axle shafts. Thats it. Otherwise its all there. Lockouts are in great shape, 4.10 gears, high pinion and driver drop. Any questions just ask. Asking$400 firm for the both of them
D44

closer shot when it was still under the truck

Sorry, crappy pic of D60

Heres the Power-Lok, guts are all in superb shape

The 60 is now stripped of all brackets and brakes, brakes were rusted anyway. The 44 comes w/ the rollers on it but the tires on the 60 arent for sale.

Hmm, Id probably peg them at weighing about 300lbs. together. Id suggest a pick up truck to haul these for sure. Great axles though!

Haha, I understand man but the only vehicle I have to drive these around in is my dads F-250 turbodiesel, gas mileage is about 10mpg on a good day. I can meet you in Jackson though, that will shave an hour off of your drive time. I dont think they weigh 300lbs though since I can pick them up myself. Maybe a little over 200 tops Id say. I dont know what kind of engine you picked up but I have other parts too if you need other stuff.

Its about 3 hours from chicago. Nope, shafts havent been modified. The year of these axles was a 63" wms so they are very close to stock Jeep (62 1/4" wms). Thats just the way they came from the factory. And I hate to be the barer of bad news but someone told me this afternoon they wanted to come pick them up this weekend. So at this point I have a sale pending. But if it falls through I will let you know for sure.

D60 is a little too much for my purpose i think. i'm gonna run 35's. i'd go bigger, but i want to be able to pull it in and out of the garage, without deflating tires. or switching tires just to store.

At this point, yes, I would be willing to ship them. But shipping costs will need to be covered by you. I landscape so I have pallets I can strap them to for safe shipping.

OK, I want these. Let's figure out how to get them to Huntsville, AL. ...actually Athens, AL 35613

Could you get a shipping quote? In the meantime, I'll make some calls on my end to see if I can figure out something.

My son is actually on his way to Detroit this very second! ...graduation trip. Will they fit in the trunk of a mid sized sedan?? LOL

Well thats cool. I have been with my girfriend for a fairly long time now (over 4 years) and she deff. knows her off road lingo. She knows the difference between a limited slip and a full locker and has even impressed me with stuff I hadnt thought I told her about. Its pretty cool but she knows not to clean my tools, lol, they'll be out the very next day anyway. Back to my thread though...SOMEONE WANTS EM, BUY THEM!! lol
