Buying a house so one of the toys has to go and the Jeeps last in. Last in, first out, you know how it is. Anyway, heres the details. Bought it in April of 2011, previous owner had replaced the frame shortly before sale but the body was beat. Frame doesnt even have any surface rust, never mind rot. Tub was rotted, fenders were rotted, grill was bent. First thing I did was replace everything in the rear brakes; drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware, brake bar and the ebrake cables front to rear. Over the last few months, I bought a near mint Sahara tub, mint fenders, grill and tailgate. Took it all the way down to the frame, replaced the flywheel and clutch set as well as the master and slave assembly. Put on the new tub and sheet metal. Monster lined the interior, dyed the dashboard semi gloss black. Sheet metal is currently in flat black (primer) and it actually looks pretty mean. Was going to paint it over the winter. Non stock wheels were painted black by previous owner. I put in a new radiator when the body was off. Tires are about 50% tread, 33 x 12.50 15's from previous owner. Comes with hard doors, hard top and bikini top. When I got it, the body was so tweaked the doors didnt close or line up. Now they shut perfectly. Just bought a new Superwinch EPi 9.0 electric winch a month ago. Still in bags from the kid I got it from. Never installed. Replaced battery with yellow Optima when I bought it. Thats about everything. Its a 4.0, 5 speed obviously. Around 140K on the odometer. Original axles and gearing, 3.5 inch superlift kit was installed by PO, 2 inch body lift. . Passenger side rear springs a little sagged but it doesnt affect anything. Goes down the road straight as an arrow. Any questions feel free to ask. Looking for 3000 as is, or 3400 with the winch (just needs a winch plate to mount it). Ill entertain reasonable offers but dont insult me or yourself. I have pics from the day it was boyught all the way through the teardown up until recent but Im just posting the latest. If you want more, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
or PM me.
