is my original hood worth any $ ?

Planning on getting an AEV hood and wondering what to do with old one. I have a 2011 deep cherry Sahara with 1115 miles.

Im sure its worth something at the scrap yard but not sure how much. I have the same issue as you will have as my stock hood is sitting in my garage. I'm contemplating scrapping it but am think of hanging it on the wall in my basement (finished) as art. Might get the JP Freek emblem airbrushed on it before hanging it. As far as selling it, try craigslist or ebay, if not here, but dont think the demand is there for high dollars. Good Luck.

put it in the corner of the garage and wait...someone will need it. I'm looking/waiting for a 97-02 TJ hood. Someone will crunch theirs up and want it, and pay premium. And it give you money for other things.

what he said. Lightly used OEM TJ hoods are hard to find, and "new" or refurbished ones are around $200

Keep it and/or wait for the opportunity to sell it. Don't scrap it.
