Let's Try This Again: "Your Side Steps For My Nerfers"

Seeing how I couldn't get back in time to make corrections to my "other" post.. I'm ready this go round.

I'm willing to sell or trade my old nerf bars (tubes) for your Sahara side steps.. However, I'm unable to remove the passanger side nerf brackets.. If you interested in these bars/sliders Please bring some tools so that you can remove them yourself.. (brackets I mean) Or I can sell them out right as is for $50. Shipping is not an option.. and I'm willing to meet/drive to PA/DE/MD to make the exchange..

I don't suppose these would fit a TJ would they? Otherwise I'd buy from you outright.

Bullethead.. Measure the distance from the main bolts holding the body to the subframe.. and I'll do the same and get back with you on this.. Note: I had a camera for 2 days but was forced to return it to the pawn shop.. moneys tight) so I'll do this best I can discribing the main bolt areas. These two bolts are very long and are located right under the rocker panels (door area) I'm unable to gain any sort of access to the nuts or what ever it is holding the passange side bolts in place.. However I can take the bolts almost all the way out but they end up spinning afterward.. where as the drivers side.. They came right out without issues.. So just measure the distance from bolt to bolt to see if these brackets can/could work. check with you tomarrow.

K.. Note sure what you mean by Grade 8, but the main 4 bolts (two per side) which connect the body to the sub frame are where these brackets get installed.. simply draw out the long frame bolts (maybe 8'' long never measured the lengh of the bolt) then not the two brackets in the image above.. Thats just one side.. again I couldn't remove the passange side brackets.. if you know someone that can remove these for me or can you do it yourself.. (mind you the last time I attempt this.. the bolts unscrewed about 6 inch or so, but never actauly came out)
If the weekend is fine.. we could meet up somewhere to see what we can do..
fyi.. not sure you want this done.. but my last wrangler 99 we had to acually drill out holes to mount a nerf bar like this.. and simply screw the nerf onto the frame.. you can/could do this if we cant get the other brackets off..

Grade 8 is just the durability of the bolt, I wasn't sure if the bolts were something unique to UWS or if I could run to Lowes or HD and buy an 8"x3/4" bolt and throw it in there. But the brackets would be hard to replace.

As for not getting them off but getting them loose about 6 inches...It sounds stripped but thats odd that it would loosen slightly and then not anymore. Only thing I can think of without having tried or looked myself is applying pressure on the back size while you loosen.

If my measurements match yours we can meet up this weekend and work something out, maybe even Friday afternoon being that I will be near Anap Junct.

Update: SOLD

Welp timing is everything.. and thanks to Bullet.. Earlier in the day we had plans to head to the eastern shore.. but the jeep just wouldn't start. I was able to limp to the Sears (in the thinking they had Optima batteries) only to find out they had Die Hard (my second best alternative)

Later that day, bullet a new to the jeep world, came out to meet me yesterday thou a bit hesitant because the measurements didn't match up.. I talked him into the nerf bars..

Thanks Bullet you helped us a little bit on getting a new battery for the jeep.. hope the nerfers come in handy.
