Looking for 90 YJ 4.2L carb or parts

my brothers YJ with stock carter seems to be acting up. it looks like its one of the pieces that adjusts the opening on the carb for air that seems to be made of plastic is worn out beyond doing its job. he has price of brand new one for 178$. doing knew how much the upgrade is when doing a ford carb or whats needed. would be nice to get a parts carb or at least the part thats shot. anybody that can help local? in northern NJ
