Selling my 89 YJ lifted 6"

So I am looking to sell my 1989 YJ after putting 1500-2000 into it to realize that off-roading is not my thing... Need something more practical for MPG and my 19 year old lifestyle...

Too nice to trash but obviously not perfect.

2.5L with ~178k Miles on the motor, has a top end tick/light knock, been that way since I got it about 8 months ago.
5 Speed, no grinding at all.
4.11 or 4.10 Gears (can't remember what stock is in it)
Has an exhaust leak (I think it is where the manifold meets the down-pipe) Makes the ticking sound a lot worse than it actually is.
DOES NOT LEAK ANY FLUIDS
4" Rough country suspension lift.
T-case drop.
2" lift custom made Shackles.
33X12.5 on 15" rims Wild country XTX (80% tread)
Cragar 15X8, paint peeling/rusty.
Durango steering box upgrade for easier and quicker turning radius.
Rough country steering stabilizer.
Removed front sway bar, and rear trac bar (still drives fine at 70MPH on highway/corners, not a nascar though)
Inside under carpet was rubber coated, and underneath was rubber sprayed before winter.
Rear and front bumper has 2 quantity 15k Lbs D-rings welded in place closest to frame.
New pads and rotors in front, and new shoes in rear (drums were fine).
plugs/wires/cap/rotor changed within ~7k miles.
Oil changed about 2 months ago (not many miles).
Frame is SOLID, driver has a new floor pan and the passanger side has no rust.
Only rust bubble is on the driver front fender (in pic), some scratches/scuffs/dings/dents.

The front bumper was literally ripped off from pulling a honda ridgeline off a curb (drunk on st. pat's day.....) but it is on there tight now, will withstand daily driving and off-roading but will not withstand being pulled out by another vehicle. The bolts ripped right through (both top and bottom on driver's side) would need to be re-welded.

Most noticeable dent/paint scratch chipped off the passanger quarter panel but painted black so it doesn't rust, and a dent in the driver front fender.
Asking $4000 OBO. But please shoot me a REASONABLE offer if interested. Prefer texts or leave message 315-247-9721.
Would accept trades for a Nice/well maintained 97-04 subaru outback Limited, 5 speed 2.5L or V6 3.0l auto.
I paid $3300 totally stock with a hole in the driver side side floor pan...

Inspection ran out right after I took it off the road, needs windshield wipers (just the blades), and a new steering bar (the one that goes from knuckle to knuckle that is horizontal with the ground) and an alignment after that, WILL PASS INSPECTION OTHERWISE.

Lowest I can go is $3400. Don't offer me anything less because I literally can't do that.

Just installed new windshield wipers, and am replacing the bar that goes from knuckle to knuckle with brand new tie rods, vehicle will be able to pass inspection without any problems and will drive straight. Might need an alignment but will be as close as I can get it.

89 Wrangler YJ lifted 6"

A few things I forgot in the main page, new alternator, hubs, and I think that is all I forgot. I put the front bumper back on, it will withstand hard bumps and isn't going anywhere but If driver side d-ring is going to be used it should be re-welded behind the bolts. Right now it is just tightened to snot on there. WILL PASS INSPECTION AS IS, only problem is exhaust leak that ticks and top end lifter tick.
$3100. If I can't get this I'm just going to keep it and lower it.
That is bottom I can get to afford the outback I plan on buying... Greatly appreciate if I can get this thing gone.
If someone can show me a better jeep with these sort of add ons for this price let me know... I REALLY NEED THIS THING GONE.

sad to say...but he may be right. 178K miles...lots of problems with it. it's 20 years old. you can get a newer jeep with a lot less miles for around 4k. good luck with sale, man...

Sold for $3100, was offered $3800 day after it sold, I just had bad timing; and location.
To everyone offering $1000; thats insulting. If you put over 80 hours into a vehicle and $3000 into something, when in stock form the vehicle was worth $3000, you do not understand.
Should look on craigslist for location, as in estate, its all about location location location; stock YJ's are asking $3500. So clearly people are ignorant of the market for these.
