Springs/Shocks & a bumper

I've got a number of sets of springs for sale along with some shocks. I got them all to compare ride comfort and height with added bumpers and HT vs ST...spare on/off. This is what is left over.

The Rubicon shocks came as a package deal with the springs you see (18/60s). They have approximately 200 miles on them. Package deal is $175. Separate: Springs $100 and Shocks $100.

The other shock/springs are a mix and match. The springs (13/56s) came off my 14 Willys with about 1010 miles on it. They have a little overspray from getting the Jeep undercoated. The shocks came off a 14 JKU Sport with 1000 miles on it. Package deal is $100. Separate: Springs $50 and Shocks $50.

I have a lone set of front springs (16s). I'm asking for $25.

The bumper came off my 14 Willys with just under 1000 miles. Very clean...fog lights not included. It is pre-drilled for a front license plate...thanks Ohio. Asking $125 OBO.

I'd rather not ship anything if I don't have to, but I'm not crazy enough to turn down a sale. You pay shipping. Bumper wouldn't be cost effective to ship...but if you're paying I won't argue.

Thanks for you're interest!

No clue why this popped up as Alabama. I'm in Ohio, Dayton area. Maybe a moderator can fix. Sorry if there is confusion.

Interested in the Rubi shocks/springs--what didn't you like about the ride with these installed on your Willy's? What do you have installed now?

The rubi shocks are pending sale (as of this morning). To answer your question though, I already have the shocks on my Willys. These came with a different set of springs I purchased (it was a package deal although I didn't need them). My main concern was how much rake I would have with different rated springs and a heavy bumper/winch, soft top vs hard top, etc...so I wanted a bunch to get the right look. I ended up with 18/60s and the rubi shocks. I would go to 19s if I could find them, but I couldn't. Love the ride and the results! Highly recommend it if you're just looking for an inch and a half to two inches of lift and want to stay factory. They're plug and play....

if you could find 18/59's would that eliminate the factory rake and still provide some lift?

There's only a height change on a 2 door with less rate coils.
You shoudnt see a rake change installing front and rears.

Correct you are Sir. A buddy of mine put on 18/60s up from 16/58s and added rubi shocks to his 4 door sport and he got minimal lift. I think it was roughly a half inch or so upfront and a quarter inch on the back. Wasn't worth it for him...but the red shocks look good on his rig.

You are correct as well that you won't see much of a rake change doing both sets especially if you already have a rake. But you do see a great change depending on what spring combo you use. For example, when I put the 18s on and still had my stock 56s on, I was sitting higher up front by a little more than 3/4 inch. Hence the reason I got a couple of sets with different rates...made it nice and level. 18/58 was actually the best combo with a soft top, spare tire, and front bumper/winch (there was an eighth inch difference front to back) . But when I put the hard top on, the back sagged just enough that when my bumper goes on, it would be lower than the front. So I went back to 60s. I still have the 58s for when the bumper and HT go on, just incase.

Great time to add a small spacer up front if doing this upgrade.
