stock air box

I have upgraded to a K&N cold air intake system and no longer need the stock air box, tubing, or air filter.
$20 + shipping or best offer?

Neither will save you if your in over your hood and slow down enough to alow your engine compartment to fill up. the stock set up is as good as it gets with the exception of a good snorkel set up which the majority of us don't need. the k&n does nothing but let more dust and crap into your engine.. I'll leave it at that though as i don't want this thread high jacked for this discusion.. it is a for sale thread not a discustion thread...

Here is one of manny threads on the subject http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/kn-i...em-117774.html

I have had cars in the past where the cold air intake system actually seems to hinder performance. In this case its a whole intake kit (PO purchased and installed) I have been looking it over and its actually a wider tube going to the throttle body and the position of the cone sits higher than the stock boxes opening. The throttle response is dramatically improved over other stock wranglers I've driven and I seem to be getting close to 20mpg. In really deep water the cone could be an issue but no more so than the stocker box. The cones opening is higher than the front fenders and this kit actually has a mud / heat shield sealing it from access below and on the sides. So far it seems to work really well.

I dunno, I could be wrong, maybe more was done to my jeep than I know, but its super responsive and more torquey than any of the stock 4.0L's Ive driven.
