So I think I understand that they put Dana35/44 both under this year jeep. I do no real offroad running with the jeep the most it sees off road is launching my jet ski from shore. You have to make sure the gear ratio matches. Most stock D35 came with 3:07
Finding a D44 in may have 3:73 or 4:10 I think. An axle off a 2.5 should have 4:10. You could have the front regeared to match but its not a DIY job and will cost $600-$700 bucks.
