lol, I think shipping will be killer getting it up here so he may not need to worry about any kind of cheque

Anyone have any idea what a full top/hardware weighs/demensions are roughly?

I'm thinking about this and I've been looking to seeing there's been anybody that's actually shipped a soft top.. It looks like you can't really take a soft top apart enough to ship it.. Maybe I'm wrong.. Anyone have any info to offer?

Prolly like 30 pounds with all hardware. It would have be shipped in an oversize box as well if done via regular mail service. Since its a used product, duty doesn't apply. Dimensions would be about 4.5feet by 2 feet by 2.5 feet (give or take.) Another option is just wrap it like they do for skids with plastic wrap ie. Also you can decide if the shipper or receiver pays the shipping as they do with bus parcels know as collect(Ontario NorthLand does that up here and I know Greyhound does that too). All that needed to be done is buy the appropriate insurance just in case its lost/damaged which I would recommend if you go bus shipping which actually the cheapest way to go.

I don't think it'd work well shipping it wrapped in plasticwrap without more rigid protection on the sides. I'll have to go down to the packaging place and see what they suggest and do some reseach... :/
Good deal for whoever gets it though.

I know you are, ty I was just thinking it wouldn't last any kind of trip with out some rigid protection around it. Most shippers are great at tossing stuff around!
I'm was going to look into the Greyhound as I had a set of rims/tires done that way and it was cheap and easy (mind you that was a long while ago.)
I appreciate any and all suggestions please!
