Tj Steps

These came off of my 04 and fit a certain year range. I know 03 to 06 but not sure how much further below an 03 they are good for.

No, They won't fit a 98 as the bolt pattern is different, if you will look at the bolt pattern on the frame of your 98, you will notice that (IIRC) one pattern is 2 bolts and the other is 3 bolts where these have the 2 bolt pattern both front and rear and I think it was this way thru 01.

bolt pattern was 3&4 on my 00, just saying.
