I have a 5sp from a 97. It has an external slave cyl. I dont know if it is compatible, but if you find out, its on the cheap.

Around 135k. Shifts perfectly. I bought the jeep with 107k and knew the original owner. Mostly highway miles. I'm in the process of swapping in a 4.0, so I have no use for it.

i can tell you thats the rough cast and not cracks, rust is nothing just surface and 150 is a steal for a spare working trans.

I haven't checked on this thread for a while. I assure you there is nothing wrong with this trans. Like dooder said, those are cast marks, not cracks. I assume, you are referring to the T/O bearing when you see rust. If you are replacing the clutch, the kit should come with a new one. There was nothing wrong with it, but if it were me, I would replace it while the tranny is out. Its inexpensive enough. I keep the tranny covered with plastic garbage bags, so water is not getting in it.

I never shipped anything this large before. Maybe someone on here knows the best/cheapest way. I can put it on a small pallet and its not too heavy to carry, so I can drop it off at a freight shipper if that will save on the cost. Let me know.
