Wrangler Forum Mugs

It's taking me a little longer than I thought to set up everything but I wanted to get the pricing up and start to work on everyone's mugs as soon as possible.

The mugs are handmade, of course, microwave/dishwasher safe, and hold about two cups of whatever you want to drink out of them. They're currently available in TJ, TJ with flat fenders, YJ and now CJ. I'm in process or carving a YJ with flat fenders, and with take requests for JK or other jeeps. I'll also take requests for sizing, smaller or larger.

The mugs are $20 each plus $8 to pack and ship them. Ask about pricing on sets or multiples. I haven't set up paypal yet, but I'd like to get working on the pieces since right now I only have five mugs left (I dropped one!!!) and I'd like to get working on them. So go ahead and either PM me with your order or post it here.

I haven't gotten photos of all my glazes right now, but I have lots of colors that I've developed, including red, blues, greens, browns, tans..... you really have to ask and I can shoot you over a photo of a color you might like. None of my glazes are one single flat color. They will range between different shades and sometimes totally different colors.

This has been an incredible project for me and I'd like to thank Kyle and Don for allowing me to offer these on the site. Keeps me out of trouble. And thanks to Chris for giving me the initial idea.

I think that's everything, and that I have everything spelled right, if you have any questions, please PM me, or post here.

Thanks guys. I love this place.

Those are awesome Tiny! Good job, as soon as I can scrape up a few extra $, I'm in.

soup, cocoa, soda, water...anything liquid will work. Probably make a really nice pen holder on a desk too.

They look great, I will definitely be needing one for working at the dealership. The torx are a very nice touch!

They look great but why are all the square headlights in the back ?????

I'd like to see some Greens please and are they stamped on both sides? I'm left handed (surprise!) and the decorations on other cups always face me....

They're stamped on both sides because.... surprise, I'm left handed.

I'm going to get color choices up as soon as I get them through the kiln. I have lots of glazes, so I'm in process of making test tiles to show them and make sure they work well with the detail.

Thanks again guys. And, after rereading my coffee drinkers thread, I realized not only had Chris given me the intitial design thoughts, but Dare2BSquare, while trying to keep me on topic, suggested WF mugs. Thanks Dare.

Just go ahead and post or pm me exactly what you want and I'll get working on them while I'm working through the payment thing. I want to make it as easy as possible for everyone, but I don't want to wait to make them until I have it all set up.

I have TJ, TJ w/flat fenders, YJ, YJ w/flat fenders, and CJ.

thanks guys

Yellow's an issue (vanadium burns out at the temps I fire to), I'm developing a yellow, but it's not like mixing paint. I have to get the chemistry right and fire the kiln just so to get certain colors. Red I can do, but yellow's taking a bit of time.

Looks like I'll be waitin' then as yellow is the color for me. Flat fender TJ so I will have to do the mod to match the cup. They look awesome Chris, can't wait to order one.

I would just like to say that these mugs are amazing! I got mine today and the pictures do not do them justice. The detail is amazing. The size perfect(not too big, not too small). I absolutely love the color I chose(black/brown). I know I probly shouldn't be endorsing anything that is sold on the board, but you WILL NOT be disappointed with one of these. I love it already and I haven't drank anything out of it yet! Thank you so much Chris!! It's fantastic!!!!!!

Hahahaha, testing glazes takes time. I only fire the kiln once or twice a month, it take 12 hours of babying. But, I think it'll be no problem. I have a "gold" glaze, so yellow's got to be there.

Oh and the CJ and YJ flat fender stamps came out of the kiln yesterday. They look pretty cool.

Those are what I use to make the impression into the clay. They take about six hours each to carve, so those would be some mighty expensive ornaments. Oh, and you're missing the flat fender YJ, guess I should post it. It looks goooood.
