How bad is the dent? Being a rear shaft I would be leary of that if it was too bad. No case parts here, sorry.

You could have a local repair shop put a tube in that shaft for you.

flywheel cover

I was wondering if you happen to have a flywheel cover?
I think that is the right term, anyway it is the sheet metal plate that goes between the engine and flywheel and bolts to the bell housing.
PO of my 1988 YJ swapped in an AX15 and the plate is not there. I have the 4.2 I6 and the AX15 transmission (internal slave cylinder).

Not sure it is called midplate. I've seen it call flywheel dust cover. It bolts on to the engine side of the bell housing between flywheel and oil pan.
Either way, I have an 88 with the 258/4.2l and AX15 (swapped in by PO).

Thx
