I managed to get a stock bumper from a guy on Craigslist for $40 in pretty good shape, so I'm getting ready to order the hoop. Since I'm opting to go with the non-light mount version, I was looking for bumper mount light brackets to use instead. Has anyone used these Quadratec mounts? Do you think they'll interfere with the hoop? I'd like install everything at once so I'm not taking the bumper off every weekend.
I think the light mounts and the bumper use the same area and might not work together.

I heard they just finished validating a different set up for the 10th Anniv Rubicon bumper. I believe the current hoop w/o the light plate fits just like it does on stock .... ?!

Considering mounting a Oracle LED light bar over the MAXIMUS hoop. Anybody with LED light bar experience? I am struggling with this decision.

This is gonna be my next upgrade. Just read everything on here and I'm looking forward to getting mine. I'm gonna go with the whole kit. Just ordered my vdp end caps and some smittybilt fender flares today. After I recuperate from this purchase, this will be my next mod. Thanks everyone for the info!

Would love to see some more pics of these, particularly with the lights installed.

I've got mine ordered with the hoop only. Despite some reservations, I've also ordered the Quadratec light mounts to try them with the hoop (may have some like-new light mounts for sale in the near future ) I'll post pics when it's all installed.

Just sent an email to see about ordering. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the hoop w/light brackets. I decided to mount a winch inside of the bumper. I'll also be chopping the bumper down and adding the VDP end caps. Now, hopefully I have the patience to wait until I have all of the parts on hand so I only have to take the bumper off once!

Let me know how it goes mounting a winch in the bumper. I would live to hear about this.

Got mine installed yesterday. I didn't do it in an hour like some say they did, but it's on. Really impressed with it. Like some mentioned, I also pulled the upper plastic trim. Since the grill guard covers most of this area, didn't see the need for it. Besides, in order to hook up the accessory light harness, I'll need the room under the grill. I'll post some pictures soon.

I just ordered mine. I'm getting the whole package. I'll post pics throughout the whole install. I live in AK, so it might take a couple of weeks before it gets here and is on though.

Looks great on your rig! What wheels & tires are those? That's exactly the style I've been looking for.

Looks great! What model lights are those? Are you happy with them? I'm trying to figure out what lights to go with.

They look like IPF'S 968. That's what I have.

Red face

The lights on the above Dozer Rubi are IPF 968 CSG's which are 6 inches in size with 55 watt bulbs. I used the included 100 watt bulbs and they are "very very bright". The wiring harness and relay setup are very quick to install. I have them switched on with my high beams presently. The raise white IIIPF letters on the light grills were painted Dozer with touch-up paint.

The tires are Goodyear Duratracs - LT285/70R17's. The wheels are Level Eight ZX's with rim protectors installed. They all came perfectly balanced from Discount Tire Direct.
No lift or leveling kit presently installed. Very happy with road ride in rain/snow thus far. Very little road/tire noise to complain about.

By the way, we will be in Moab all week starting this Sunday! Hope to see some of you there!

Finally got mine installed last night. I had a small crunch on the original bumper (just enough to flatten the crush can) so I was also putting on a replacement bumper I got off of Craigslist.

I put on the Maximus-3 grill guard w/o the lightbar, the Quadratec auxiliary light mount brackets, and KC Apollo Pro Driving lights. Very happy with the results .

If anyone else is interested in the Quadratec light mounts, they did not interfere with the Maximus hoop at all. They don't connect to a fixed mounting point, but instead clamp to a frame cross-member and can be moved around freely.

Feels like I'm posing a little bit while I'm on stock wheels & suspension. Maybe next month...

Looks great! I like how you mixed different products to get a good result.
