I would love to see some more pictures of the winch set up. Any new installs with the winch plate?

I'll admit one thing about this. It's a pain in the a** to install but when your done, man is it cool. It is great to have someone to help you out on this one & be prepared to man up on those wrenches when your trying to take the front bumper off. Also, who the heck decided to put the vacuum pump in its current location on the 13 JK's? Geeze!

Looks great! I agree on the PITA comment too. After bloodying the knuckles twice I went and borrowed every 1/2" ratchet extension my neighbor had and life got a lot easier. Even still I put the hoop mounting brackets on backward at first, remounted the bumper before mounting the hoop, and tried to put the top cover in last (which you can't do). I ended up undoing and redoing everything multiple times. I can't really complain though, since I stopped reading the directions at step 3 (too excited)

Looks good! Mine arrived yesterday, I have it sitting on my rollaway tool chest awaiting the weekend. I got lots of extra tools to persuade stuff with.

Man, that sucks bro. I emailed joe at maximus and told him that an update to the instruction manual would be great. Also, a low profile Allen wrench would be nice to have in the hardware too. All in all, I'm very pleased.

I thought it was easy. Installed on a 2012. Agree on the location VP. Lighting Wiring is kicking my ass.

Yeah, some higher res pics or schematics would have been helpful, but now that its on...

I didn't think the wiring was too bad. The KCs came with the relay and all the wiring to get me to the A-pillar. Once I found the hole through the firewall under the outer cowling it was pretty straight forward. Which part are you having issues with?

I thought the install was very straight forward and easy once you get beyond dealing with the plastic clips !
The only frustration we had was dealing with those annoying clips, the rest was just like the instructions said ....

Agree on the allen key.

I got mine on today! I opted to leave the trim and air dam off. I used side cuts on the clips, trimmed my own allen wrench, and used a 24 inch breaker bar with 6 & 2 inch extensions to make the bumper mount hardware a breeze. The flanges on the bar required some prying to line up and a c-clamp to steady, but no biggie. I used Never-Seize on the install.

Should be the same as my 2012 Sport, the mounting points for the bumper are the same. Contact: Sales@maximus-3.com

Looks great man! Considering you're the winch-mount trailblazer, you have to post pics when you get the winch in too. I'd also interested in hearing how everything holds up in through a real self-extraction.

The winch will be a while. My wife is getting tired of me spending money on the Jeep, lol. When I get it, I'll update everyone! Here's a couple of pics on my light install.

Installed mine today, and ran into the same problem putting the top cover on last. What I ended up doing was removing the grille, that is way easier than removing the front bumper. You do have to use a little elbow grease and imagination to be able to put the top cover on (slide it under the bumper on one of the corners the top cover sits under, then apply some force to the other side, it will work in), but it is doable. On mine it did push it back to where the plastic screws of the top cover don't align where they go, but it's wedged in there pretty tight between two pieces of metal and under the plastic bumper, so I didn't re-use the plastic screws. I doubt it will go anywhere. The hoop itself is a top-notch quality product.

The light plate covers up a good portion of the gap if you do leave the trim off. Now I got some ambient light if I need to work in that area or change my vacuum pump out.

The filler trim doesn't go in last. According to the instructions the trim goes in at step 6 when you put in the sub-assembly. It looks easy, you can get excited and carried away not following installation steps.
