No. We do not have plans to make that option at this point.
We did evaluate various design paths/options at study phase and logically we opted for this [current] design solution which is more structurally robust, low friction, versatile, easy to install and a more JK comprehensive solution. We will publish the installation guides soon to give you a better idea of what it involves.

What size RotoPax Cans will fit? It looks like only the one gallon can will fit if you have the High Lift Jack attachment, but if you don't have that, can the bracket hold the 2 or 3 gallon cans?

Both the side mounted and high mounted packs are 2 gallon cans. You can only mount one 2 gallon can with the jack and two cans without a jack.

Very nice work! Nice to see how you worked with community to help meet our needs.
This is exactly what I have been looking for. This will be the first new add now that my build is complete. There's another G note out the window. What is your current lead times? I would expect demand to be high.

The Maximus-3 team wants to thank everyone that has called, made inquiries and has placed orders. We had to increase our first production run due to the high pre-order demand slightly delaying our first shipments. We will extend the 10% discount through the first production batch.

We are finalizing the installation guide. We are excited with the ease of installation. You can keep your drill motor in your tool box.

This tire carrier looks nice. Will give folks the option of whatever rear bumper they want including leaving stock on. Great job.

Get your check books ready. This Carrier is very well made, Very simple install.
I kept track of the actual working time and it was on in about a hour and a half.
The guys there are great as well. We took plenty of pictures and they will be revising the installation guide to make it even easier to install.
Best part is no drilling, single hand opening of the tailgate remains stock. Closing efforts are not affected. I drove home on some of Michigan's finest pot hole infested roads and didn't hear the slightest rattle. I did hear something but it turned out to be the old carrier laying in the back.

I'll have to grab my daughters camera for some better shots/

I'm really envious.

I waited to hear about the pricing and unfortunately, it ended up too steep for me.

I just placed an order for the $400 teraflex hinge yesterday.

Gonna just to have to admire yours . It looks great!

General, looks good. Question on the shovel. Is that a standard shovel on the rack? It's looks like the handle has been cut. I'm looking at this set up and want to carry a shovel. The shovel I want to use is a wild land Fire fighting shovel it's just under 52" long. What is the length on the shovel that your using. Thanks.

I haven't measured it, but the Hi-lift is 48" the shovel is a couple inches shorter.
I don't see any reason a longer shovel wouldn't work. Maybe the General can answer how wide of a shovel the handle brackets will accomodate.

I'll measure those after work if he doesn't reply.

That is a standard straight handle digging shovel. The one in the picture is Ames brand from HOME DEPOT with the handle cut shorter to keep it just about the same height as the Hi-Lift jack, ... just a mater of preference.
You can have a wooden or fiberglass handle. Diameter of the handle must not be more than 1.5" and no D-handle.

I have the 10A rear bumper and like the idea of this tire carrier as it centers the tire but really like the AEV carrier.

Another thing to keep in mind is the AEV Carrier is about 24lbs more than the Maximus-3 before adding accesories.

Thats a huge difference in my opinion.

Combine that with the ease of installation. No need to remove the bumper, no drilling, no Shimming to get the alignment set.

Just a couple of amateur "new jeep owner" questions, please.

With the jack mount and shovel mount attached and loaded, is there plenty of clearance with the tailgate fully open, before hitting the taillight ?
Just to confirm, the tailgate and tire-mount swing open as one unit using one hand ?

Product looks well thought out.
Thanks for your help.
