Stinger ?

I think the "hoop" looks great but I think a "stinger" style setup would look awesome. Have you guys considered it?

A concept is on the drawing board, ... not far behind.

10A/X Bumper

To maintain the OE 10A/X bumper what type of brackets are used with the Maximus hoop for support. Also, can the hoop extend out further ?

Thanks for the input.
We are still at a conceptual stage with this. Our effort is to create a structurally functional design and yet maintain a clean "OE" look. Stinger height/length and structural integration into the chassis frame are very important factors in the design.
Also we don't want to loose the factory tow hooks and crash cans, ... also we want to make sure it will be easy to install with no drilling or cutting.
Any input/ideas are welcome.

Keep in mind if you upgrade your lights the stinger will cast shadows. I recently went to Truck Lites and had to move my light bar because the TL cast a "Beam" (think the shape of 1/2 a circle) of light unlike stock lights. The light bar was mounted on the stinger which interfered with that beam of light coming from the TL's. Just something to consider....

Very good point Sinister6 !
So, ideally a dually lights or LED bar should be below/above and slightly forward of the stinger.
The design features top mounting tabs for an LED bar and low light brackets for a dually.

machz ... I have a philosophical question or maybe technical question. For the purpose of the "stinger", wouldn't a "open" end be more advantageous over a "pointed" end? That question has bothered me for some time.
